Genotyping is the process of identifying the genetic code responsible for an individual's hemophilia. Much like a fingerprint, your genotype can provide meaningful information about your hemophilia to you and your doctor. Genotyping can also serve as a critical roadmap to greater scientific understanding and new treatment approaches.
